TCP Congestion control

Q) Consider an instance of TCP's Additive Increase and Multiplicative Decrease (AIMD) algorithm where the window size at the start of the slow start phase is 2KB. The receiver advertise its window at the starting of communication to be 24KB. Assume the size of the advertised window never changed by the receiver throughout the communication. The time taken to send full window is ..... Assume RTT=10 msec

 

My Approach:

let 2KB=1MSS. then threhold=6 MSS and the full window size=12 MSS

Slow start phase start with initial windo size 1 MSS. After the first tranmission(and before the 2nd transmission) it is 2MSS. This way it is

1|2|4|6|7|8|9|10|11|12.

Now after 9 RTTs(the bars) the window size is 12MSS or we can say before the 10 the transmission starts it is 12MSS

 

Now for "The time taken to send full window" shall we include 10RTT??? As far as I know it is not required as the question emphasises on "To send Full window".???
